Deep Fried Mars Bars
Mix the flours and bicarbonate of soda (baking soda) together. Add enough milk whilst whisking to get a batter consistency. Not too runny and not to thick.
Now heat your deep frying oil. It will be hot enough when a small piece of bread browns after a few seconds. Hot - not smoking, don't forget! Remove your Mars bar from its wrapper (just in case you aren't with it) and immerse it into the batter making sure you cover the whole bar.
Gently place it into the hot oil. Remove when you have a nice golden brown colour. Repeat with second Mars bar. 1 per person (2 for big Blokes).
Serve with Vanilla ice cream.
