Chocolate Steamed Pudding

 

Mix the whole lot together and put dough into greased pudding bowl.

Pour over it:
2 tsp golden syrup
¼ cup sugar
50g butter
1 small cup boiling water

Steam for 30 mins with lid on saucepan but not on the pudding basin.  Does not spoil if steamed longer.  Serve with a scoop of vanilla ice-cream or cream.

  • Recipes that state "milk to make a soft dough" without giving any idea of quantity annoy the hell out of me!
