Cinnamon Cake

Preheat oven to 180C.

Cream butter and sugar, add eggs one at a time and beat until creamy.

Add all dry ingredients and put into 2 x 20cm tins. Bake each one for about 15 - 20 mins.

Once cool spread any red jam over one, then place the other on top. Ice with lemon icing.

  • 125 grms Butter used,a guess of course but the cake turned out OK. Regards Peter A.

  • I had to guess the amount of butter to use as it is not on the recipe and used raw sugar instead of brown with homemade plum jam (wifes) as the filling. It turned out to be a great cake served with some cream for desert this evening. Delicious! As a new bloke with BWB, it was my first cake from your recipe list so will make some more ASAPO.
