Pizza Dough

1. Put yeast, sugar and water in a small bowl and set aside for 15 minutes (it will go frothy).

2. Sift salt and flour into a big bowl and add oil and yeast. Mix well.

3. Knead dough on a floured bench until smooth.

4. Lightly! oil the bowl and put the dough in, then cover with damp teatowel and put in the oven at 30 degrees. This speeds up the rising process.

5. When the dough has doubled in size, take it out of the oven. Punch the dough in the center and lightly knead again.

6. Roll out into a circle.

That's your dough done - now slap on some tomato paste and chuck on some toppings.

7. Bake at 220 degrees for 15 minutes or until golden.

Pizza Dough - what do you reckon?

  • try rolling onto one large base almost the size of the oven trey about 10mm thick, use a tomato paste sauce base and top with chicken, salami, onion, red and green pepper, green onion, extra hot sweet chilli philly, cheese and top with a swirl of mayo and a swirl of sweet chilli sauce.... enjoy!
