Cream butter & sugars. Add eggs & essence.Fold in flour & baking powder. Gently stir in chocolate. Drop in dessertspoonfuls on tray & bake 180C 15 mins.
It makes about 15.
They spread out lots so don't put them too close together.
these are now a family favourite i use the large melts and have found them better with two tsp of baking powder and i double the amount of choc drops

FANTASTIC! Instead of choc chips use a chocolate block smashed up..more like the real thing :)
