Blokes Who Bake
- 1. Preheat oven to 160C. Line base of slice tin (27cm x 18cm x 3cm)
- 2. Melt butter and stir in cocoa
- 3. Add eggs one at a time beating well after adding each
- 4. Add sugar and vanilla. Stir well
- 5. Sift flour and baking powder together. Add to mixture and stir till mixed
- 6. Stir through choc chips. Can add nuts if desired.
- 7. Bake 45-50 mins. Brownie should still be soft inside so if skewer comes out with a bit of mixture on it, the brownie is just right if you can roll that mixture between your fingers.
- 8. Leave to set in the tin for about 20 mins. Cut into bars when cold. Dust with icing sugar (optional)
